The beings on this meteorite had long await this Doomsday. They had not come unprepared. As Earth came hurling at this gigantic snowball, thousands of space shuttles, each holding about 500 men and women, flew off the damned meteorite and flew to a relatively safe distance above the pack of ice below them. With tear-stained faces, they watched as the beloved beings they had left behind were smothered in the hard packed ice of the planet. None on Earth survived, for the shock of the impact between the two bodies of nature had cracked the earth in two. Hot molten lava streamed along any path it could find. When it was all over, the beings in the spacecrafts above could see a ong scratch, as if a large animal of some sort had slashed the planet to the bone. Hence, in memory of those dead, they named the planet Slashed Ice.
After several months, the pack of space shuttles finally agreed to land in a smooth, nature made bowl in the hard mixture of rock and ice, some thousand miles away from the Slash. After the Landing, the Earthlings decided to choose a leader from among them. This being would have to be powerful, alert, intelligent, and practical. After several days of deleberation, they chose Yusthet as the Leader. After this was done, they began colonizing this bowl, which they called First Landing, and began to spread out over the planet.
Soon a quarter of Slashed Ice was populated with Earthlings. Crops and technology were in the clear. The Earthlings began to explore more into the field of technology. They began to develop weapons and droids of extrodinary power. Computers with exordinary Artificial Intelligence were created to take over the Earthlings' neccessities (crops, building, warmth). They then began to explore the world they lived on.
Retoong, son of Yusthet, was with the Pack of Yurin, the greatest Pack in it's strength, technology, stealthiness, and small numbers, when he was met with the sight of what is now known as the Bloodseths. These creatures were of incredible size, over 30 stories tall, with scales which could have stopped a missle. The Bloodseth was a lizardlike creature which stood on it's hind legs. Instead of hands, the creatured had great blades of what seemed to be of Raxidium, a metal they had found but were unable to mold because of it's hardness and strength. The Pack of Yurin quickly radioed back to First Landing of their discovery. Yusthet beckoned his son to come back, but Retoong, a young man of courage, honor, and bravery, did not heed his father's pleas. With the Pack of Yurin, he stealthily crept close to the creatures, which numbered about ten. One of the Bloodseths wandered somewhat aways from the rest of the group. The Pack of Yurin took this as their chance and quickly attacked this lone creature.
With his Returner-4000, Retoong shot an oxidium missle directly at the Bloodseth's head. The mark was hit. However, as the blast cleared, no damaged appeared on the Bloodseth. It wasn't even dazed. Turning around, the Bloodseth's back was torn apart as a pack formed on the creature's back. The Bloodseth's blades melted into nothingness, and in it's place grew hands of immense size. The creature pulled out some sort of enormous launcher of some sort from the pack where his back used to be. It steadily aimed it at the group of Earthlings nearby. The Pack of Yurin was about to be blasted to their doom. Luckily, knowing they were in danger, they quickly jumped clear of the place they were before as a bright light projected from the tip of the Bloodseth's launcher, and a great explosion rocked the planet were the Pack of Yurin was just a flew fleeting seconds ago. The Pack tried to defend themselves, but their weapons were no match for the Bloodseth. They quickly brought Retoong to a place far away from the Bloodseth, and quickly coaxed the creature away, as to maintain the life of their future Leader.
Retoong, displeased, nevertheless stayed where he was and scanned the Bloodseth of any weaknesses. After long last, Retoong found a small opening in the creature's scales, on the right arm where the wrist was supposed to be. The opening, however, was very small, less than an inch in diameter. He quickly tried to notify his brave comrades, but the radio was damaged by the shrapnel from the Bloodseth's blast. He watched in horror, for the Pack of Yurin could not outrun the giant creature chasing behind them. with it's great foot, the Bloodseth crushed the whole pack in one fleeting blow. Retoong cried in sadness and fury. Taking out his Returner-4000, he fitted his second and last missle with a remote control device. When the Bloodseth was at a safe distance, Retoong stood up and screamed. As the Bloodseth turned around, Retoong shot the missle directly at the creature's arm, and guided it to the small opening in the creature's arm. A few seconds later, the missle exploded, directly in opening of the Bloodseth. The creature was enveloped in a white ball of flame. As the explosion cleared, no trace of the Bloodseth was found. Retoong slowly and sadly wandered back to First Landing, where he was picked up by one of the guards and quickly sent to the med-care for healing.
Yusthet was outraged at this turn of events. He quickly ordered all available units to be sent out to find and destroy the creatures.
